Simplicity and repose are the qualities that measure the true value of any work of art.

Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Federal Office Building Renovation

Completed in 1974, the EGWW building is out-dated, suffering from over-use, and is ready to undergo a complete transformation into a modern office environment for federal agencies. The work is being funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act (ARRA) with the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), which establish stringent energy and water conservation requirements. As a result, the modernization project will upgrade every building system. Improvements include: seismic structural modifications; new highly energy-efficient mechanical, electrical, and voice/data telecommunications systems; a blast-resistant curtainwall; and tenant and core upgrades.
